*E-mail Terms

You are welcome to send us electronic mail. However, your use of e-mail is subject to your agreement to our Terms of Use, and the following:

If you are not a client:

If you are not a client of our firm, your electronic mail will NOT be treated as privileged or confidential and may be disclosed to other individuals. Therefore, you should not send us confidential information until you have established an attorney-client relationship with us.

If you are contacting us to obtain more information about a legal matter, you should be aware that we cannot provide legal advice to persons we do not represent as clients, in e-mail or otherwise. General legal information is provided on this site, on other sites on the internet including those listed on our Helpful Links page, and elsewhere.

If you are contemplating retaining an attorney and would like to learn more about how we may be able to help you with your specific legal problem, we would also invite you to call our office to schedule a free initial consultation.

Please note:  due to the demands of our practice and our primary responsibility to our clients, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to respond to unsolicited e-mail.

If you are a client:

We do offer e-mail as an alternative means of communication for our clients. For those who are inclined to use computers, we have found e-mail to be an efficient and convenient means to relay messages.

If you choose to communicate with us by e-mail, however, we would ask that you keep in mind that e-mail while in transit electronically over the internet can theoretically be intercepted and read by others. Therefore, even if you are a client, you should avoid sending us sensitive, confidential information using e-mail, unless we have made prior arrangements to encrypt those messages.

Your use of e-mail with our office in any fashion constitutes your agreement to the foregoing. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use e-mail to communicate with us. Other means of contacting us can be found on the Contact Us page.
